Back in 2009 planning permission was granted by the Welsh Government for an eco-village at Tir y Gafel, near the village of Glyndwr in Pembrokeshire. Having overcome planning barriers the Lammas project has been created to pioneer an alternative model for living on the land and build a sustainable community for the future. One Planet Developments are permitted in open countryside if they are "low impact"and Rachael Garside visits the smallholding that has the latest innovations in environmental design, green technology and permaculture and hears how it supports other aspiring low-impact projects in Wales.
