Gabby Logan presents live coverage of the 15th World Championships in athletics, which are taking place in Beijing, China.

Usain Bolt is the man to watch in this session as he returns to the scene of his thrilling triumph at the Olympic Games in 2008.

The Jamaican won three Olympic sprint gold medals in China in 2008 - successfully defending all of them at London 2012 - and will look to put an injury-disrupted season firmly behind him with another global 100m triumph on day 2 of the competition.

Aside from Bolt, all eyes are on Britain's heptathletes this afternoon, as Jessica Ennis-Hill and Katarina Johnson-Thompson compete in the 800m, the final event of the punishing seven-discipline event. Ennis-Hill has competed sparingly since winning Olympic gold in London three years ago, in part due to the birth of her baby, and she has unfinished business in Beijing having been forced to miss the 2008 Olympics in China's capital because of injury.
