At this stage last year, defending champion Andy Murray's challenge came to an end after he lost to Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov. In the women's quarter-finals, Eugenie Bouchard completed a 6-3 6-4 victory over German Angelique Kerber to reach her first Wimbledon semi-final.
