Comedy series. Sean is hurt that Matt hasn't shown any interest in his new show. Carol attempts to slow down the pace of her new relationship with Helen.
Sean is increasingly frustrated with Matt's lack of interest in his and Beverly's new project The Opposite of Us. Beverly urges her husband not to worry about it, but Sean can't let it go. When he finally guilts Matt into reading the script, there are unexpected consequences: Matt falls in love with the show and wants to play the lead role.
Carol and Helen's relationship continues to hurtle forward at breakneck speed. When Helen gives her a key to her house, Carol freaks out. Beverly advises her to be honest with Helen about her feelings, so Carol tries to put the brakes on. Helen doesn't take it well and, ironically, it's Beverly who finds herself under the bus.
