The studio is transformed into a VE Day street party, as Adrian hosts a special programme to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the end of the war in Europe. He speaks to veterans and their families, as well as those who took to the streets in 1945 to celebrate Germany's surrender. He also hears from a Japanese prisoner of war, and from Germans who reflect on what VE Day meant to them.
