In 2014 the Irish inflicted a comprehensive 26-3 defeat on Warren Gatland's side in Dublin, which was Wales' first loss away from home in the competition since 2011. That result proved crucial in the destination of the 2014 title, with Ireland going on to become champions on points difference.
