Travel show. Angela Scanlon and Joe Lindsay take a city break in Krakow, where they explore the markets and churches in the medieval Old Town.

This week Joe and Angela are taking a city break in Krakow in Poland. They explore the markets and churches in the medieval Old Town, encounter a fire-breathing dragon and visit the remarkable salt mines, where they see a huge chapel carved entirely from rock salt. Joe and Angela also consider the tragic history of the area with a tour of the Schindler factory and a poignant journey to Auschwitz, the notorious Nazi concentration camp. Angela also takes a short getaway in her hired campervan, Rupert, a vintage VW. Her journey includes the iconic Dark Hedges, the scenic Dunluce Castle, stand-up paddle-boarding in Portrush and ends on the glorious Portstewart Strand.

Flea Market

Look how happy Joe is! Getting a bargain can do that to you, and if you love finding little treasures and haggling then you could do a lot worse than checking out this market. It's typically a local affair so you shouldn't be overrun with other tourists.
