Series in which families try out life overseas. A young mum tries to persuade her partner to agree to her decade-old dream to live in Australia.
Kirsty Etherington's dreamed of moving to Australia since her parents' plans to emigrate down under were cancelled when she was just 13. Now with a young son, she's convinced the country could offer her family a brighter future. Partner Chris can't understand the appeal or come to terms with taking their young son away from his grandmother and other family.
During their week in Perth sampling everything Australia has to offer, Chris is blown away by the opportunities the country presents. But will that be enough for him to agree to fulfil Kirsty's wish for a new life down under? Or will the close ties he has at home mean her hopes are dashed for good?
