Derek Brockway undertakes walks around Wales. Here, he tries barefoot walking in the hills above Crickhowell and walks around Lake Tegid at Bala.
Derek Brockway tries out barefoot walking in the hills above Crickhowell with Lynne Allbutt - the first person to run barefoot across Wales. And following that theme, he walks around Lake Tegid at Bala - the biggest lake in Wales - partly on the route of Mari Jones, who back in 1800, walked 25 miles barefoot to buy a copy of the Bible in Welsh.
