
New Music from Iceland
Ilan Volkov leads the BBC SSO in new music from Iceland, including Gudmundur Steinn Gunnarsson, Anna Thorvaldsdottir, David Brynjar Franzson, Charles Ross and Thrainn Hjalmarsson.
A survey of some of the exciting new work emanating from Reykjavík and the far north, the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra is conducted by principal guest conductor Ilan Volkov, who is also chief conductor and music director of the Iceland Symphony Orchestra.
