Laura Maciver investigates the value of the Ryder Cup to the Scottish economy and hears from businesses who have won contracts from the event.
As the Ryder Cup comes to Scotland, the Home of Golf, for only the second time in its history, Laura Maciver, finds that as it has grown in stature, it has also grown in value. It is estimated the event will contribute £100m to the Scottish economy. Laura hears from some of the businesses who have already won contracts from this prestigious event. She speaks to the company supplying 300 golf buggies as well as a firm making the official jerseys.
