Home renovation series. Nick Knowles and the team help adapt a home for a hospital worker injured in a motorcycle accident.
A motorcycle accident left hospital worker Jason Sulong visually impaired, paralysed down one side and with limited speech. He can't get up the stairs in his home so is now trapped downstairs with no toilet or washing facilities.
Jason's wife Effie is a cardiac nurse and is struggling to look after Jason and their two kids whilst also being the main breadwinner. Nick Knowles and the DIY SOS team call on the local community to help Effie and give Jason back his dignity. They have just nine days to complete the build.
