Scottish Hip-Hop artist Gavin Bain speaks to Clare English about the pain of fame after pulling off one of the biggest hoaxes in the music industry. Gavin explains that when he and his mate Billy Boyd failed to get noticed on the U.K hip-hop scene, they took the decision to drop their Scottish identities, reinventing themselves as Californian hip-hop duo Silibil n' Brains, earning themselves a £250,000 Sony record deal.
