Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton will be hoping to maintain his early-season form at a track where he has a great record with victories in 2007, 2010 and 2012. His team-mate Nico Rosberg has provided his biggest competition so far this season but has never finished higher than fifth place in Canada.
Reigning four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel was a dominant winner last season as he turned pole position into victory, while Fernando Alonso finished second after overtaking Hamilton with nine laps to go.
