Cora Bissett talks about Grit, a new show about the life of musician Martyn Bennett, plus Janice talks to Iraqi writer Hassan Blasim and finds out what makes a good musical.
Grit is a new production based on the life of musician Martyn Bennett. Janice meets director Cora Bissett, choreographer Dana Gringas, and actor Sandy Grierson, who was a friend of Martyn's in real life.
Joanna Rakoff's first job was answering fan mail for the author J D Salinger. She tells Janice how she got drawn into the world of Salinger devotees.
Plus, the Reduced Shakespeare Company, Iraqi author Hassan Blasim with translator Jonathan Wright, and look out the glitter as Janice finds out what makes a good musical.
