Eric Pringle - Meeting Bea

Lake District, 1927 - Beatrix Potter is now a farmer, but two visitors make her face a troubled past. Starring Stephanie Cole.

In 1927, children's author, Beatrix Potter was living the life of a recluse as Mrs Beatrix-Heelis.

The arrival at her Lake District home of an American publisher and an admiring Lancashire Mill-girl, sparks painful memories of an appalling childhood and youth.
