The Pontiff has more than 3.6 million followers on Twitter and growing. He’s clearly been persuaded by the value of digital technology. It provides vast amounts of information to our fingertips and opens up immense possibilities for bringing the world together – and huge dangers of intrusion, bullying and control. Is it a bane or a blessing?
