As part of the Celtic Connections festival, Mary Chapin Carpenter joins the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra for a world premiere of her new album Songs From The Movie.
The album features selected moments from Carpenter's 26 year back catalogue replete with new orchestral arrangements by Vince Mendoza, who also conducts tonight's performance.
Recorded at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on Friday January 24th.
