Darkly comic film about Alfred, a 64-year-old man from Glasgow who suffers a health scare and decides to make amends with his estranged family before it is too late.

His well-meaning attempts to make things right always seem to go wrong, but with his long-suffering friend Brian along for the ride, he faces up to his past and realises what his life means to him.
