Musical comedy drama about an aspiring ballerina (Maureen O'Hara) who ends up working in a burlesque house alongside her friend (Lucille Ball) after her troupe fails.
Good friends Judy and Bubbles are both dancers. Whilst Bubbles uses her good looks and sassy personality to get jobs, Judy is a dedicated ballerina and finds it more difficult to succeed in her chosen profession. Eventually, the ballet troupe fails and Bubbles gives Judy a job in the burlesque theatre she works at. The two eventually clash when they both fall for the same man.
