Continuing 6 Music's Sound of Cinema season, Academy Award nominated and Grammy winning composer Danny Elfman selects some of his favourite musical moments from the big screen.
Danny Elfman is one of America's most prolific television and film composers. Best known for creating the main title theme to The Simpsons, amongst his other credits he has scored the music for the majority of Tim Burton's movies including Batman, Alice in Wonderland and Beetlejuice. Danny also has soundtrack credits on movies such as Men In Black, Spiderman, Planet of the Apes, Edward Scissorhands and Good Will Hunting.
In this one hour special, Danny takes us through his career as a film composer, picking some of his favourite pieces of music from cinema.
