A stunned Sharon takes Jack into the office. He admits Ronnie’s being released; it’s made him realise what he and Sharon have isn’t enough. Sharon wonders if it matters if they’re both settling but Jack’s adamant. Insisting Jack stays, Sharon tells everyone it’s a mutual decision but the weddings off. Everyone’s awkward when she insists on having the party anyway. Claiming she’s fine, Sharon rejects Tanya’s sympathy. Sharon throws her bouquet, Ian gulps when Denise catches it. Phil mopes in the Vic; Lola tells him what’s happened. Sharon drags Dennis away from Jack when he leaves with Amy. Dennis runs away from Sharon. Plastering on a smile, Sharon heads for the bar. Phil lurks outside R&R but leaves after Jack reveals it wasn’t Sharon who stopped the wedding. Eventually the club empties and Sharon’s left alone. She heads for Phil’s, knocks on the door and asks if she can come in.

Lauren gets drunk and suggests to Kirsty Max’s putting off making a decision about the pregnancy. Kirsty tells Max Lauren knows. They keep Lauren away from Tanya. Kirsty looks after Lauren, insisting Max tell Tanya about the baby. Tanya and Max talk about Lauren and parenthood but Max doesn’t mention Kirsty’s pregnancy. Back home Max tells Kirsty he thinks she should have an abortion.

Kat takes an unwell Tommy home from the wedding early. Michael mentions Ronnie to Alfie then realises he didn’t know she’s being released. Alfie storms round to Kat’s and demands to take Tommy. He’s furious Kat didn’t tell him about Ronnie but she thinks that was Roxy’s job. Warned by Michael, Roxy comes to find Alfie. Back at the Vic, Roxy admits she thought the news might come between them. Alfie talks about the night ‘Tommy’ died and Roxy reassures him. Alfie watches Jack read Amy a story.
