Sharon probes Tanya about her date with Phil. Phil arranges a second date and asks Sharon to look after Lexi. Kirsty learns of Tanya’s date from Billy and informs Max who storms round, ranting he doesn’t want Phil around his kids. Tanya thinks he’s jealous. Phil arrives for dinner, Max makes a quick exit. Agitated, Tanya downs wine as she and Phil discuss past relationships; Phil reveals he and Sharon kissed. Drunk, Tanya smashes a wine glass, kisses Phil passionately and they fall into bed.

Ashamed, Bianca admits she hit Liam. Whitney’s keen to speak to him. They unlock the door; Bianca notes Liam has new trainers from his ‘brothers’ and a mobile from Derek’s stash. Bianca reads a text about Ray “we’ll get rid of him” and agrees to tell Jack while Whitney keeps guard. Bianca confides in Ava, who insists Liam will forgive her and urges her to go home. Meanwhile, Liam begs Whitney through the door for a hug. Bianca heads home as Liam emerges. Bianca apologises but Liam flees.

Shirley lays flowers for the first anniversary of Heather’s death. She rages at AJ, Masood, Lola, Phil, and Tanya before Patrick warns that her anger won’t bring Heather back.

Phil writes a birthday card to Ben from Lexi. Lola reluctantly agrees to take Lexi to see Ben. At the prison, Ben’s changed his mind about the visit but, on learning he has a daughter, agrees to see Lola and Lexi. Later, Lola admits Ben doesn’t want Phil near Lexi but insists it’s not his decision, revealing they picked Phil when Ben asked her to choose.

AJ and Masood sign Tamwar up for karate lessons but injure themselves trying to impress the beautiful instructor.

Kirsty tells smitten Billy to ask Ava out.
