The opening session includes the first three events of the women's pentathlon, while British Olympians Nigel Levine and Eilidh Child begin their respective 400m campaigns. There are also 60m hurdles heats for men and women, and the qualifying round for the women's long jump and men's triple jump.
Steve Cram leads the commentary, with expert analysis from Paula Radcliffe, Denise Lewis and Colin Jackson.
