Malick puts his career on the line when he overrides the wishes of a convicted murderer. Jac learns the value of teamwork following a run-in with Elliot.
Malick struggles with treating a convicted murderer but when he learns his side of the story, he's determined to save him and reunite him with his daughter, despite the patient's refusal to consent.
Eddi wants to prove that she can cope under the pressure of the non-referral policy, but her determination to be efficient, and the encouragement of a new locum, leads to her discharging a patient who is seriously ill.
Jac doesn't want to help Elliot out with a difficult patient, until Elliot attacks her for her selfishness, and she realises that she can play as part of the team when she wants to.
