Richard Hawley pops in to have a chat with Nemone & play live and Matt Everitt's The First Time welcomes former Guns 'n' Roses guitarist Slash for a warts 'n' all career spanning interview. But one of the moments of the week came on Tuesday - with Blur playing an Olympic closing gig at Hyde Park on the 12th August - Steve Lamacq hosted a very special show live from the BBC's Madia Vale studios. Alex James, Dave Rowntree, Graham Coxon and Damon Albarn treated an audience of listeners to an intimate 6 song set for what was, unbelievably their first ever 6 Music live session.
