To Paris With Parsnips

Two British amateur cooks take over a Paris restaurant to feed British food to the fussy French. With Jane Garvey. From 2012.

In a country known for its chauvinism about their food, is it the height of madness for two British amateur cooks to take over a Paris restaurant and introduce fussy Parisian customers to the delights of British food?

With their belief that even our famous "rosbif" is grey and indigestible, can cooks Clare Brigstocke and Michael Whitehouse, persuade the French to the contrary?

Is it possible to sell our British culinary treasures to the French?

Presenter Jane Garvey finds out.

Featuring Andrew Crooks, David Lowe and Agnes Poirier.

Producer: Fiona Cotterill

An Alfi Media production for BBC Radio 4, first broadcast in July 2012.
