A Tribute to Bomber Command

Her Majesty the Queen and members of the Royal family pay tribute to those who served in Bomber Command during the Second World War in a special ceremony in London's Green Park.

Her Majesty the Queen, along with members of the Royal family, pays tribute to those who have served in Bomber Command. During World War II more than fifty-five thousand men lost their lives during bombing raids. In London's Green Park an historic ceremony will be held to honour these brave men and other aircrew who have served in combat zones across the globe. At the heart of the ceremony The Queen will unveil a new memorial.
