As the American-born composer Carl Davis celebrates his 75th birthday, he conducts the BBC Concert Orchestra with singers Janis Kelly, Mary Carewe and Lance Ellington. Paul Gambaccini presents a repertoire of music Carl has written and been associated with. It was recorded at London's Mermaid Theatre in August.
