Jessica Fletcher sees a family wedding turn into a murder investigation when the bridegroom, a struggling actor, winds up on the list of suspects for the murder of a cabaret owner. The cops and Jessica set about reducing the shortlist, which also includes a comic anxious to break his contract, and a lover of the victim's wife.
