Thriller. A retired CIA agent is called back into action when a killer he thought he'd disposed of years earlier re-emerges and begins claiming lives again.
When a senator is murdered, it bears all the hallmarks of Cassius, a Soviet assassin who escaped the CIA's clutches years ago. Retired CIA man Paul Shepherdson is tempted back into the fold and, paired with a keen young FBI agent who's been studying Cassius's methods, charged with tracking the killer down before he strikes again.
