High School follows a year in the life of one of Europe's biggest schools, Holyrood Secondary in inner city Glasgow. This three-part series follows the tears and triumphs of some of its two thousand pupils and their teachers.

Head Boy Max tries out for Oxford University, while head of First year Bernadette tries to keep all 450 of her kids in school while
battling both illness and truancy. And the race is on for the Sixth years to be selected for the school's Malawi trip.
