Shirley takes the family out for Phil’s birthday lunch at the Argee Bhajee. Phil and Jay eagerly anticipate the fight night. DCI Marsden questions whether Ben’s telling the truth, warning him his family will be gunning for him. Phil presents Ben with an extra ticket to the fight night but continually picks on him. Ritchie arrives with a one way ticket to Lisbon warning Phil the police are on their way. Phil sends the boys to the Arches for his passport. Ben hides it. Phil panics, Ben triumphantly presents him with a black envelope. Phil’s stunned to realise Ben was his stalker and that Shirley knew. As police pour into the Arches and DCI Marsden arrests Phil for Stella’s murder, Ben wishes Phil ‘happy birthday’.
Afia worries Tamwar sees Yusef whenever he looks at her. Lucy and Afia bond as they talk about their parents, Lucy invites her to the Vic. Zainab urges Tamwar to forgive Afia and worries when she doesn’t come home. Amira discovers Afia in the Vic. Afia denies she’s been drinking. Amira digs that lying’s in her genes, Afia storms off.
Lucy organises a night in the Vic with Lauren, promising Tanya she’ll keep an eye on her. She’s put out when Lauren invites Whitney. Lucy sneaks in a bottle of tequila which Lauren refuses.
Cora denies the love letter’s hers. Abi tries to work out who sent it by getting signatures on a fake petition. Abi discovers ‘Fluffles’ is Rose. Rose claims the letter’s from a friend away on business.
Tanya insists Jane take time off work, Jane’s suspicious. Tanya admits she arranged Jane an interview. Later, Jane tells Tanya she got the job - it’s in Cardiff.
Liam gets a part time job in McKlunky’s when Whitney urges him to help Bianca more.
