2. Loyalty

An initially suspicious Marilyn Monroe relents when the author tells her, 'I'm on your side, Miss Monroe'. Read by Samuel Barnett.

Marilyn quizzes Colin on his loyalty.

Has he been sent to spy on her by Laurence Olivier? Accepting his answer "I'm on your side, Miss Monroe" she invites him to visit her at home that evening and their friendship is established.

In 1956, Colin Clark worked as a 'gofer' on the set of 'The Prince and the Showgirl', the film that disastrously united Laurence Olivier with Marilyn Monroe.

In this memoir, Clark recalls how, during filming, he became Monroe's confidante, helping her escape from the pressures of filming.
