Eddie sends Michael on a house clearance job then gives Vanessa the keys to the gym. Vanessa empties the gym’s safe then notices the CCTV camera flashing and runs to Jodie’s flat, terrified. Jodie suggests Vanessa return the money, but when a police car passes Vanessa presumes she’s too late. Tearful, Jodie and Vanessa say goodbye. Eddie tells Tyler they, Anthony and Craig are going to Spain. Anthony reveals he’s set up a deal involving school desks, Michael’s coming back to lend him money for it. Michael finds the safe empty. Eddie and the boys walk in. Eddie reveals he stole the money. He tells Anthony and Tyler everything Michael’s done. Eddie makes Michael get on his knees and beg for forgiveness. Tyler spits on Michael and Eddie insists Michael’s not his son anymore. Anthony and Tyler decide not to go to Spain with Eddie. Eddie gives Liam a letter for Carol and hugs him goodbye. Eddie meets Vanessa, takes most of the cash from her and abandons her and her cases on the pavement. When Michael phones Eddie, Eddie throws his phone away then he and Craig head for Spain.

Someone’s painted ‘biggot’ on Phil’s car. Christian sees Ben throw away a spray can and Ben admits he was trying to make Phil leave Patrick alone. Christian advises Ben to talk to Phil. Sergeant Morris is amused when Phil reports the graffiti. Later, Ben tells Phil he did lock Patrick in the Minute Mart after Patrick saw him kissing someone. The graffiti was all him too. Phil realises what this means and insists the conversation never happened. He shoves Ben away and Ben falls injuring his face. Distressed, Ben returns to Christian’s. Without admitting what Ben’s told him, Phil offers Patrick his job at the Vic back.
