The winners of the three semi-finals gather in the BBC Radio Theatre in London for the tense climax of the series.
One of them takes away a handsome silver trophy and joins the roll of honour as 25th Counterpoint champion.
The winner has knowledge of the widest possible range of music, from the classical repertoire to light music, show tunes, film themes, jazz, rock and pop.
