Whitney Dean, Albert Square's most vulnerable teen, is in trouble. Tricked and sexually exploited by Rob, unable to reach out to family or friends, she is on a downward spiral.
This programme looks back at her time on the Square to find out how she arrived in such a dark place and how EastEnders, together with advice from Comic Relief, dealt with one of its most challenging storylines to date.
Whitney's Story goes behind the scenes with actress Shona McGarty, interviews the cast, creatives and crew (including Lindsey Coulson, Jacqueline Jossa, Neil McDermott, Chris Coghill, and Richard Curtis) and also looks back at some of Whitney's happier times in Walford.
