Writer in Residence

After immersing himself in popular culture, Ed gets a new job at a University. Stars Christopher Douglas. From February 2011.

Fed up with everything on the radio originating from Cambridge, Ed decides to immerse himself in popular culture and retunes away from Radio 4.

The new outlook on the world that Radios 1, 2 and 5 Live bring to Ed proves fortuitous when his daughter, Eli, manages to secure him an interview at her husband's university.

So it is that Ed finds himself 'Writer in residence' with all the benefits that this affords, including discussing the merits of the worst Lady Gaga wardrobe malfunction of the year.

The comical world of an author, pipe smoker, consummate fare-dodger and master of the abusive e-mail.

Christopher Douglas stars as Ed Reardon.
