Stephen Duffy presents the latest new releases from Scotland and beyond, plus he features a live set from saxophonist Herb Geller with his trio, as well as educator Richard Michael.
Stephen Duffy presents the programme, featuring American-born saxophonist Herb Geller and his trio. Herb is known for his West Coast sound from the 60s and is a true jazz celebrity, having performed with Clifford Brown, Miles Davis, Charlie Parker and many others. Now based in Germany, he's here touring with an trio made up of Edinburgh-based Paul Kirby on Piano, German bassist Martin Zenker, and Hamburg-based drummer Rick Hollander.
Richard Michael will also be featuring with his latest edition of "Anatomy of a Classic".
