Charley is a teddy bear who uses his imagination to go on adventures and discover new things about himself and the world around him, all under the watchful eye of the Narrator.
Charley wants to be taller and bigger than he is. But when he actually becomes a giant he finds he's so big there are a lot of fun things he just can't do any more - like go to a party in a normal-sized house! Maybe his normal size is fine after all.
