Jimmie Macgregor recalls some of his most memorable global journeys for the BBC which include travelling to the Arctic Circle, The Ulster Way and the Sierra Nevada mountain range.

Legendary musician and presenter Jimmie Macgregor looks back on his illustrious broadcasting career with a special Zone focusing on his many global travels for the BBC.

Among the featured adventures are a complete series called The Range Of Light where Jimmie retraces the footsteps of celebrated Scottish American conservationist who spent his life dedicated to the preservation of Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada mountain range.

Elsewhere, there is a fascinating trip that Jimmie took round the Arctic Circle taking in Norway, Iceland and Greenland and there is also a short series featuring his travels along The Ulster Way in Northern Ireland.
