5. A Death for a Death

Revelations that two elderly women were killed by experimental drugs not prescribed to them led initial suspicion to fall on their GP, Dr Tom Cready.

But then a cancer specialist died at the local hospital in a suspected murder.

Detective Chief Inspector Kate Duncan now believes that all three victims died because they were involved in decisions refusing the use of expensive new treatments in the NHS.
