Live from the Royal Albert Hall, Katie Derham introduces the final concert of the 2010 Proms season. Master of ceremonies on the podium Jiri Belohlavek gets the evening under way with the BBC Singers, the BBC Symphony Orchestra and Chorus in a festive new piece by Jonathan Dove.
American soprano Renee Fleming is the soloist in songs by Richard Strauss, and Maxim Rysanov gives Tchaikovsky's popular Rococo Variations for cello and orchestra a new voice with the viola.
During the interval, there are highlights from Proms in the Park in London's Hyde Park, Salford, Swansea, and Hillsborough Castle in Northern Ireland.
