When Nick Knowles and the team were asked to help bring the Price family from the Welsh Valleys back together, they couldn't resist.

After a run of good luck was swiftly followed by redundancy and debilitating illness, the kitchen extension started by dad Ceri has been left unfinished and the house virtually uninhabitable. The family's three teenage daughters have spent the last two years living with their grandparents in their two-bedroom flat.

With the help of architectural designer Charlie Luxton, an army of local tradespeople and lots of goodwill, the team transforms this ex-council house into a family home.
