Determined to keep his marriage break-up secret, Michael throws himself into work. Meanwhile, Elliot is desperate to raise the remaining funds for Ben's laser surgery.
Michael throws himself into his work to avoid thinking about his private life. But he soon becomes frustrated by a tricky patient and takes his anger out on Donna and Elizabeth. Later, in theatre, reality bites - causing Michael to hit rock bottom.
Elliot will not give up on young footballer Ben who needs his operation. There is no more time for fundraising. Elliot must find someone to supply the laser equipment now. Will attractive Maggie Winton be the one?
Penny is desperate to impress Linden and when he challenges her to work with Frieda she is determined to get over their differences. They are both in for a very rocky ride.
