Japan are taking part in their fourth World Cup and coach Takeshi Okada has set his side the ambitious target of a semi-final spot.

Cameroon have failed to progress beyond the group stages in their last three World Cup appearances, and didn't qualify for the 2006 finals. But, led by one of the world's best strikers in Inter Milan's Samuel Eto'o, the Indomitable Lions will be hopeful of at least matching their run to the Italia '90 quarter-finals.
