Conservatives take Vale of Glamorgan, Aberconwy and Carmarthen West & Pembrokeshire South from Labour as well as Montogomeryshire from the Liberal Democrats with Lembit Opik losing his seat. Plaid Cymru hold on to their Dwyfor Meirionnydd seat as do the Liberal Democrats in Ceredigion and Brecon & Radnorshire.
