Atalanta, abandoned as a baby, is raised by bears and becomes the 'wild girl' protector of the animals. When Artemis creates a gigantic metal monster called the Calydonian Boar, it wreaks havoc and Atalanta must overcome her fear of mankind to help Prince Meleager kill the beast.
