Comedy. An aspiring writer suffering from depression (Casey Affleck) is forced to move back in with his parents. An affair with a nurse (Liv Tyler) provides a chance for happiness.
Life having failed to deliver, 27-year-old aspiring writer Jim is forced to move back in with his parents.
Apathetic and suffering from chronic depression, Jim starts an affair with pretty hospital nurse Anika - but his spirits are not lifted by having to cope with his brother's attempted suicide, his uncle's drug dealing and a dull job in his mother's ladder factory.
