Stylish thriller about a lawyer who gets involved with a caterer, Mallory. He soon becomes hooked on her and, when he learns that her disturbed father Dixon is threatening her, he puts the weight of his law firm behind her, arresting her father and forcing her ex-husband to testify against him. However, Dixon escapes from the mental hospital where he is imprisoned and is bent on revenge.
